Gerhart Barn Frame

Late 1850's

This late 1850’s all handhewn barn frame measures 40’x54’. The bent layout is 20’-16’-18’. This barn has very large 9” wide by 15” tie beams. The exterior uprights are 10”x11”. Rare x wind bracing accents the exterior walls. The roof has nice pole rafters that can be used to accent the ceiling of your barn conversion home. There has been some past work on one interior bent, however new matching beams will be supplied by OVBS where missing. There is heavy timber thru out this barn.
