The Walsh family is from Friday Harbor, Anacortes Islands, Seattle Washington purchased the 30’x50’ Bloomville frame from Ohio Valley Barn Salvage in late February of 2018. This frame, dated mid 1850’s, had been disassembled by OVBS in June of 2017 and was in storage awaiting a new home. The owners had already poured a concrete slab fitting the dimension of this frame. It shipped the second week of March 2018. The OVBS crew along with the owner James, his wife Susan and his son Tyler were onsite firsthand to help raise their new barn frame that was going to be used as a venue/party barn facility. We again encountered very tight site conditions as there was just enough room to assemble and set each bent one at a time. Our blessing was that we had absolutely fabulous weather during the reassembly of the frame. The frame went together perfectly and the owners had a new hemlock 3”x8” roof joist cut locally to install for the roof assembly. It was a great trip for the OVBS crew and the hospitality by the Walsh family was first class! The Walsh Family was very pleased with their new Ohio barn conversion frame by Ohio Valley Barn Salvage.
