Contact Us About This FrameThis late 1850’s barn measuring 38’x76’ is the small sister to the New Washington frame. Built in the same time period and about 8 miles from the larger New Washington frame, this barn is also in excellent condition. Beautiful handhewn timbers are accented by X wind bracing. Uprights are a full 9”x10’ with large 10”x12” rafter plates. Tie beams are a full 10”x10”. This barn had an original gable roof line and was also modified during the same time period as the New Washington barn. We now have lots of additional head room with the gambrel style roof.
