Orr/McCrery Repurposed Barn Frame
Circa 1840
The Historic Orr frame , circa early 1840 was dismantled near Eaton, Ohio in November of 2022. This impressive frame measured 44’ wide x 68’ long. The barn was built with a 44’ long clear span swing beam. The barn was reassembled in Maryland in September of 2023. The barn featured all beech handhewn beams, a 44’ clearspan swing beam and original pole rafters. OVBS raised the height of the barn by 2’ and added (6) matching handhewn replacement timbers
