Contact Us About This FrameThis ground level barn measured a whopping 80’x80’. It was actually 2 barns, the first original barn measured 40’x80’ and was built in the late 1840’s. Around 1890 an addition measuring 40’x80’ was added. The main barn had all handhewn 10”x10” beams. The addition was mostly circle sawn beech timbers. This barn was sold as a complete package to clients in San Antonio Texas. OVBS carefully dismantled, denailed, end trimmed and banded the entire barn frame structure. Both of these barns yielded almost 30,000 bdft of reclaimed wood. It shipped out on 3 semi trucks.
